Shea Beris,
IMFT-S, LPCC-S
Shea Beris is an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist with Supervisory Designation and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation. She holds an AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential and earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from The University of Akron, a dually accredited program in both disciplines. Shea has received advanced training in systems theory, trauma treatment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is also informed in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and has completed Step-3 training in IFS-Informed EMDR. Her clinical expertise encompasses marriage and couples therapy, trauma recovery, life transitions, self-esteem and identity concerns, depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders. She employs an empathetic and Client-Centered Therapy approach to facilitate individualized treatment planning and client empowerment. Shea is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment that fosters personal insight, measurable self-improvement, and sustainable systemic change.

Kailie Reed,

Kailie Reed obtained her Master's in Mental Health Clinical Counseling from John Carroll University where she also obtained her chemical dependency licensure. Kailie completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hiram College where she also played soccer all 4 years. Kailie is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. ​ Kailie's passion includes helping people unravel their true potential in life by beating their addictions and coming to terms with how to properly manage the difficulties they face in life. Kailie also works with dual diagnosis and anyone who has experienced trauma. The theories Kailie use include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. ​ Kailie grew up in Wadsworth where her family has owned the Sub Station for 38 years. She has 2 big dogs and enjoys spending time outside with them.

Heidi Buckingham-Summers,

Heidi Buckingham Summers received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron in 2016. Her undergraduate career was at Cleveland State University where she obtained her Bachelors in Psychology in 2013. Heidi is fully trained in EMDR, and holds a state license as a LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation).  Heidi has experience working with a wide population including adults, adolescents and children. She has worked in community mental health, private practice and the school setting.  Heidi treats a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, behavioral concerns, adjustment issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship issues, trauma and LGBT+ specific concerns. Her passion is helping people feel accepted, worthy and capable through the use of coping skills and personal strengths. Heidi uses Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Person Centered therapy, Mindfulness and is trained in EMDR.  When she is not in the office, Heidi enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs.

Andrew Mullenix,

Andrew is a Licensed Professional Counselor who obtained his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kent State University. Andrew also received his Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health and Community Education in 2019. Andrew is working under the supervision of Heidi Buckingham-Summer, LPCC-S. Andrew is most familiar working with the young adult population and favors Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Gestalt, as well as motivational Interviewing. His counseling style is humanistic with an emphasis on creating a strong relationship with his clients. He values the client/counselor relationship and understands its ability to create change and positive outcomes in the lives of others. In his spare time Andrew enjoys taking walks with his two golden retrievers, sightseeing, and kayaking with his family.


Allison Wolferd,

Allison is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with supervision designation. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Ashford University. Allison provides psychotherapy for children (ages 10+), teenagers, and adults. She is experienced in therapeutically supporting mothers and providing support for parents of special needs children. She assists with parenting issues and provides parent coaching and education. Allison is an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. She specializes in working with individuals with autism, adhd, anxiety, anger, adjustment disorders, emotion regulation and trauma processing (and a lot of other life stressors!). Allison provides Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD evaluations for children, teens, and adults. Allison is a compassionate and creative therapist who is dedicated to nurturing the whole person through a holistic approach. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive space where you and she can work together towards your goals. With a diverse toolkit that includes CBT, DBT, relaxation techniques, and strength-based methods, Allison is committed to finding the best strategies to support your journey and well-being. Outside of work, Allison loves all things books, spending time with her family and being in the great outdoors!


Kate is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated from The University of Akron in 2021. She obtained her Bachelors in Psychology from The University of Akron in 2014. Kate began working with children and adolescents and now enjoys working with all ages. Prior to becoming a counselor Kate had volunteered for the support/crisis hotline. Kate enjoys working with the LGBTQ+ community and helping people understand and heal from their trauma. Kate is passionate about guiding others towards their most genuine selves and encourages people to live their most authentic lives. Kate utilizes an integrative approach to counseling. She enjoys using CBT, DBT, mindfulness living techniques, Gestalt techniques, artistic expression and is trained in EMDR therapy. Outside of work Kate enjoys drawing/painting, being outside, spending time with her cat, Sushi, and watching anime.

Courtney is an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022 from The University of Akron. Her undergraduate career was at the University of Mount Union where she obtained her Bachelors in Psychology in 2019.  Courtney has worked with a variety of ages, couples, and families. Her areas of specialty include treating relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, intimacy, trust, conflict resolution, and parenting.  Courtney often utilizes Bowen theory, Gottman ideas, CBT, psychoeducation, and Structural. She helps couples and families to understand and respect one another, acknowledge, define and work through their differences, and resolve conflicts in a safe, supportive, and healthier manner.  Courtney loves spending time with her cat, Cooper, spending time with family, and making new memories.

Tylor Vincent,

Tylor is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes and holds a certification in treating ADHD. He completed his Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at The University of Akron. He earned his Bachelor's in Psychology from Notre Dame College in 2015. He is working under Shea Beris's supervision. Tylor strives to help others set and achieve their goals to create positive change in their lives and relationships. Tylor creates change through a systemic perspective in which he focuses on the personal experiences of his clients and how those experiences affect them and their relationships. ​ Tylor believes that since every person is different, his approach as a therapist will be unique to each client but the core of what he aims to do will never change; to help all those who come through the door. He is fair, honest, transparent, and empathetic. Tylor often utilizes Experiential, Structural, and Gottman Methods in his work.  Tylor lives in the Cleveland Suburbs with his wife and their pets. He is a proud Uncle and tries to always be there for his family and friends.

Ashley Darling,

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who obtained her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. Her undergraduate career was also at Kent State University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology. Ashley has also been licensed with the State Board of Nursing since 2006. Ashley works with a client-centered approach, while including CBT and solution-focused principles and techniques. She believes therapy is a collaborative process between herself and her clients. She uses a warm, directive and authentic approach to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages clients to build insight and achieve balance. She empowers clients to accomplish their goals while utilizing their strengths for change. When not in the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, children and their Great Dane Gunner.  ​

Paige Benham is recieving her Masters in Social Work at the University of Akron under the supervision of Allison Wolferd. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Social Work at the University of Akron in 2023. Paige worked as a Victim Advocate in Summit County for three years, mainly with survivors of domestic violence, and believes in a trauma-informed holistic approach. Paige believes that individuals are not only impacted by direct relationships but also the happenings in our society as a whole. Due to Paige's experience in advocacy, she has developed individualized methods of assisting clients based off of their specific circumstances. Paige enjoys to travel, spend time with her two cats, and read when she is not in the office.
